New Project Award

SEG is proud to partner with the National Park Service on the Byron Bridge Access Improvement Project at the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park in Brunswick, Maryland.

This project focuses on enhancing safety and accessibility by replacing the steep spiral pedestrian staircase with a modern concrete and steel structure, while carefully repairing revetments and stone walls to maintain the park's historic character. These improvements ensure the long-term structural integrity and usability of this vital connection between the Goodloe Byron Memorial Footbridge to the C&O Canal Towpath.
